Alan Erwin

Our Nursery Manager, Alan Erwin, is a North Carolina Certified Plant Professional.  We are proud to have Professional Plantsmen like Alan on staff who grow such high-quality landscape trees, shrubs and more.

Alan graduated from the Agricultural Institute at North Carolina State University in 1988 with a degree in Turfgrass Management and Ornamentals Technology. He also holds his Certified Plant Professional status in North Carlina. Alan spent all of his high school and college years running his own landscaping and maintenance company until his graduation when he took a job in a retail/ wholesale garden center for the next twelve years. Alan has been with Panther Creek Nursery since December of 1999. In that time Alan and Panther Creek Nursery have recieved many awards. The 2006 Outstanding Young Nurseryman's Award (Bill Wilder Award), the 2013 Grower of the Year Award and the 2017 DS Copeland Award.
